1. Choose a Domain: You might already have a domain registered if so go to step 2 otherwise you can register your domain here. This is the first decision you have to make. This is the name which people on the net needs to type in there browser to get to your site. It is a good idea to have a short domain which is easier to remember.
2. Choose a Hosting Package: We have 3 packages starting from only $5. Click here to see details. The package you choose must be based on your needs. We recommend using the Personal plan if it is a personal site and you do not expect too many visitors. A Business plan if you are a small to medium sized business and expect reasonable amout of traffic. 3. Design your website: If you want to make a professional looking site and you do not know how to then it is best to hire a designer, or a design service, or to buy a website template. Website template are premade layouts which you can buy and then fill in the details. We provide design service at reasonable prices please contact us with a detail description of what you want.
Another choice you may consider is using some WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) programs like frontpage. They usually allow to write text and drop images and create the HTML for you.
4. Upload your website: There are various ways to upload the webpages but the most easy ways are using FTP or using the File Manager in your control panel. There are various FTP programs available like
CuteFTP or WS-FTP for Windows, or Fetch for Macintosh users. You also have the option to upload files using the file manager in your control panel. See our flash tutorial to learn how to.
